Byron Brooks

National Advocacy Institute- Full Scholarship Participant

Byron Brooks, M.A., currently serves as the Assistant Director of The Afro American Cultural Center at Yale University, while also holding the position of Chief Hood Officer at Hood Black & Educated Consulting Group since June 2021. With extensive experience in social justice and community empowerment, Byron is the founder of From The Hood For The Hood Incorporated and actively participates on the boards of OUR BROTHERS KEEPER SHELTER and the Mid-East Honors Association. Additional roles include Social Justice Programming Coordinator at Ferris State University, a producer at Be-Moor Radio, and student body president at Henry Ford College. Byron has earned multiple degrees and certificates, including a Master of Social Work and a Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Music & Entertainment Business from Ferris State University.
