Cathy Asmus

Cathy Asmus is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in development and compliance within the nonprofit and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as Development Manager for Growth and Stewardship at ACLU since June 2022, Cathy previously held multiple roles at Mother Jones, including Member Initiatives Manager and Development Systems and Marketing Manager, where duties encompassed marketing collaboration, donor data management in Salesforce, and logistical oversight of board meetings. Earlier experience includes serving as an Environmental Compliance Specialist at CCOF, focusing on USDA National Organic Program compliance, and various roles related to research and administrative support at the University of California. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and participated in the Accelerated Business Program at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
