Corene Kendrick

Corene Kendrick is the Deputy Director of the ACLU National Prison Project, where they focus on civil rights litigation and advocacy for incarcerated individuals and foster children. With a legal career encompassing roles as a Staff Attorney at the Prison Law Office and the Youth Law Center, Corene has extensive experience in pre-filing investigation, class certification, and federal appellate court advocacy. They hold a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, along with a Bachelor's degree from The George Washington University. Corene has also worked as a Legislative Associate at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, advocating on various public policy issues.
