Debra Sanchez

Debra Sanchez is a highly experienced communications professional with a strong background in civil rights advocacy and organizational communications. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Affiliate Communications at the ACLU since 2004, Debra plays a pivotal role in enhancing the communications capabilities of the ACLU's 54 affiliates and driving nationwide initiatives to advance civil liberties. Prior to this, Debra held leadership positions, including Director of Affiliate Marketing & Communications at Rainbow Media and Director of Client Services at Volunteers of America - Greater NY. Debra's extensive experience also includes roles at March of Dimes, American Red Cross in Greater NY, and a solid educational foundation with a BA in Communications/Journalism from Fordham University and a Certificate in Public Relations from New York University.
