Ellen Flenniken

Ellen Flenniken is a seasoned professional in advocacy and political strategy with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Justice Division at the ACLU since September 2022, Ellen previously held various positions at the Drug Policy Alliance from January 2015 to November 2022, including Managing Director of Development and Political Strategy, Managing Director of Development, and Deputy Development Director. Ellen played a crucial role as Finance Director and GOTV Director for the Yes on 91 campaign in Oregon in 2014 and served as Deputy Finance Director for Oregon United for Marriage from September 2013 to April 2014. Ellen's campaign management expertise was demonstrated while working as Campaign Manager for Bonamici for Congress and Acting Finance Director for Kate Brown for Secretary of State in 2012. Education was completed at Middlebury College.
