Emily P.

Emily P. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in political strategy, public affairs, and academia. Currently serving as the Deputy Director for Candidate Races at the ACLU since April 2022, Emily also holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at Belmont University. Previous roles include Partner at Greenlight Media Strategies, Chief of Staff for the Office of Mayor David Briley in Nashville, and Board Chair for Emerge Tennessee. Emily's background encompasses significant positions in political consulting, including Senior Strategist at Hopkins + Sachs and Political Director at the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. Emily earned a B.A. in Urban Studies from Rhodes College and an M.A. in Urban Anthropology from the University of Memphis.
