John Doherty

John Doherty is an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in public advocacy and education. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) since June 2015, John previously held positions at ACLU as an Office Assistant/Receptionist. John's experience at Arcadia University includes roles as a Resident and Peer Mentor, Ambassador - Student Tour Guide, Resident Assistant, and Social Media Advisor, showcasing a commitment to student support and community engagement. Additionally, John gained legislative experience as a Legislative Assistant for State Representative Brendan F. Boyle and completed a Development and Communications internship at The Constitution Project. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Arcadia University, where participation in the Honors Program was also achieved.
