Jules Cowan

Jules Cowan is the Founder and Principal Designer of Movement Building Design, which has been active since April 2012, focusing on UX design and creative strategy for progressive brands and partnering with over 100 clients, including the ACLU and Amnesty International USA. Jules Cowan serves as a UX Design Consultant for the ACLU and the Public Rights Project, and previously worked with organizations such as the National Domestic Workers Alliance and Sunrise Movement, where roles included managing design teams and overseeing brand strategy. As a Visual Communications Trainer with Social Movement Technologies, Jules Cowan co-created and led training programs for unions and non-profits, while also freelancing as a graphic designer for various initiatives. Jules Cowan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Hampshire College and continues education through Movement School.
