Leah Watson

Leah Watson is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in racial justice and civil rights. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Racial Justice Program at the ACLU since March 2020, Leah focuses on litigation and advocacy against classroom censorship, biased policing, and the criminalization of poverty, while also addressing disparities heightened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include Staff Attorney at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and Counsel in the Criminal Justice Project, where Leah engaged in similar advocacy efforts.
