Nate Wessler is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in civil liberties and technology-related issues. Currently serving as the Deputy Project Director for the Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project at the ACLU since September 2011, Nate has held various roles within the organization, including Staff Attorney and National Security Fellow. Prior to this, Nate gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk for Hon. Helene White and worked as a National Field Organizer for the American Civil Liberties Union from January 2005 to January 2007. Nate earned a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College in 2004.
