Obie Anthony

Consultant

Obie Anthony is the founder and executive director of Exonerated Nation, a non-profit organization established in December 2015 that aids the wrongfully convicted with essential services such as re-entry assistance, housing, mental health support, and job training. Since January 2012, Obie has also served as a justice advocate for Death Penalty Focus of California, where responsibilities include public speaking and advocating for justice reform. Additionally, Obie has worked as a consultant for the ACLU since 2011, engaging in advocacy efforts that involve gathering signatures for various initiatives. Prior volunteer experience includes assisting clients and providing defense support at the Northern California Innocence Project from February 2008 to September 2011. Earlier in Obie's career, a role as a conservationist at the California Conservation Corps Foundation involved landscaping and conservation work. Obie holds a GED in General Studies from Lincoln High School, completed between 2008 and 2011.
