Rose MacKenzie, JD, MPH, is a seasoned policy advisor and strategist with extensive experience in community engagement, public health, and advocacy. Currently serving as Senior Advisor and Regional Campaigns Lead at the ACLU since June 2022, Rose previously held key positions at Resolve To Save Lives, where notable contributions included developing the US community engagement strategy for COVID-19 response initiatives. As Senior Director of Policy and Mobilization at the National Harm Reduction Coalition, Rose established a new policy program and enhanced state-level capacities for harm reduction advocacy. Rose's earlier roles include Senior Policy Counsel at the National Institute for Reproductive Health, Director of Health Care Policy at NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, and various other leadership positions in organizations focusing on legal and health advocacy. Rose holds a JD from Northeastern University School of Law, an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health, and a summa cum laude Bachelor's in Political Science from UMass Boston.
