Aaron Lakin

Aaron Lakin is an experienced media professional with a strong background in editorial transformation and operations. Currently serving as the Head of Subscriptions, Head of Non-dailies, and Head of Editorial Transformation and Operations at ACM since June 2019, Aaron oversees the transformation and operational strategy for Australian Community Media's regional, agricultural, and community newsrooms, leading a team of 40 while fostering cross-departmental collaboration. Previously, Aaron held positions at Fairfax Media from March 2013 to November 2019, where responsibilities included leading the digital transformation of regional mastheads and managing national editorial operations. Aaron's career also encompasses editorial roles at The Examiner, Daily Liberal, and The Advocate, alongside a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tasmania, specializing in English Literature and Sociology.
