Rafael Saldana has a diverse work history spanning several decades. Rafael started their career at Paragon Die Casting in 1979 as a Process & Quality Engineer and QA Manager. Rafael worked there until 1994. Following that, they joined Acme Alliance, LLC in 1994 and held various roles including Quality Technician and CMM Programmer, Quality Assurance Manager, and GVS Facilitator. Rafael worked at Acme Alliance until 2011. From 2003 to 2006, Saldana worked at Prosperity Realty as a Licensed Real Estate agent and part owner. In 2011, they joined Acme Alliance as a Process/Quality Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Rafael Saldana has a diverse education history. In 1983, they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from St. Augustin Community College. Rafael further expanded their education by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from North Park University between 1985 and 1988. In 1995 and 1996, they pursued a Quality Engineering Certification at DePaul University, focusing on PPAP Documentation and MSA (Measuring System Analysis). In 1997, they attended Ohio Giddings & Lewis, where they specialized in CMM Programming. In 2006 and 2007, they became certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt, specializing in Problem Solving and Process Improvement. Rafael enhanced their skills in Metrology and CAD by enrolling in Hexagon Metrology in 2014, where they studied CMM programming with PC-DMIS. In 2015, they completed additional courses at Hexagon Metrology, specifically in the areas of Metrology and CAD, including Mechanical Scanning with CAD Models and Analog Scanning. In 2012, they gained Advanced GD&T knowledge from GD&T International Advanced Applications. This collection of educational experiences displays Saldana's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in various areas of expertise.
