Jens Baake has an extensive work experience spanning several industries, predominantly in the hospitality sector. Jens most recently worked as the President of Acme Hospitality since October 2022. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at Paradies Lagardère, serving as the President of the Dining Division and later as the COO & EVP of the same division.
Baake also served as the COO of Palm Restaurant Group, where they were responsible for overseeing operations, finance, marketing, human resources, and information technology. Jens has experience in developing restaurant concepts, having worked as the COO and Consultant for MS Development Co. LLC, where they developed a Martha Stewart branded restaurant group called "Cafe Martha."
Furthermore, Baake served as the COO of MeyersUSA, a start-up restaurant working with Claus Meyer, the founder of Noma. Jens has experience in the casino industry as well, having served as the VP of Food & Beverage at Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Vice President of Hospitality at AMERISTAR CASINOS.
Earlier in their career, Baake worked as the General Manager of Landry's, where they successfully opened the Downtown Aquarium Houston property. Jens also has experience working in a managerial role in Walt Disney World and the University of Massachusetts.
Throughout their career, Baake has demonstrated their ability to lead and manage teams, improve operational efficiencies, and drive profitability.
Jens Baake received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1990 and 1995.
