Emily Sexton

Emily Sexton is the Director of Curatorial, Programming and Education at ACMI, Australia’s premier screen culture institution, where they currently work. Previously, they served as the Head of Programming at The Wheeler Centre from 2014 to 2017, and as Artistic Director/co-CEO of Next Wave from 2010 to 2014. Their experience also includes roles as Artistic Director of Arts House Melbourne from 2018 to 2023 and as a Creative Producer at Melbourne Fringe from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Emily has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Malcolm Robertson Foundation since 2024 and has operated as an arts consultant since 2008. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications at the University of Sydney.
