Philip Merry

Philip Merry is an experienced professional in the fashion industry, currently serving as a Senior Creative Pattern Cutter at Acne Studios AB since April 2018 and as a Creative Pattern Cutter / Fit Technician at KARL LAGERFELD since April 2022. With a solid background in pattern cutting and garment manufacturing, Philip has held roles such as Senior Lecturer of Pattern Cutting at Jean School, Senior Pattern Cutter at Munro Tailoring, and Senior Creative Pattern Cutter at G-Star RAW. Prior experience includes leadership as Head Pattern Cutter at Calvin Klein, where management of a team was crucial, as well as significant freelance roles with O'Neill and Mexx. Philip earned a B.A. Hons in Fashion Design, specializing in pattern making, from The Surrey Institute of Art and Design from 1993 to 1996.
