Adrian Lau has a diverse work experience in various industries. Adrian is currently the Managing Director and CEO of ACO Group since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Head of Business Development / Sales & Marketing at JENTAYU SUSTAINABLES BERHAD (formerly known as Ipmuda Bhd) starting from January 2020. In 2017, they worked as the Country Manager (Malaysia) & Strategic Marketing Manager at Dyntek Marketing (StiFlex), where they set up the Malaysian office and led a high-performing team. Adrian also gained valuable experience at Hilti Asia, where they held various roles including Product Manager, Key Project Manager, and Field Engineer / Design Engineer from 2010 to 2017. Before that, they worked as a Civil, Highway & Structural Engineer at Pakatan Jurutera Pintar and started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Angkasa Consulting Services Sdn Bhd. Adrian also has freelance experience in engineering, marketing, and sales.
Adrian Lau obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 2008. Later, in 2012, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a major in Finance from Putra Business School. Adrian also holds additional certifications in various fields, including Sustainable Fire Safety Engineering, Corporate Strategy Simulation Program, Diploma in Celemi Apples and Oranges, SEA Local Talent Advancement Program (L-Tap), and SSS- Situational Selling Skills.
