Maarten Avonts

Maarten Avonts is an experienced professional currently serving as General Manager at acom NV since October 2022. Prior to this role, Avonts was a Proud Member of BNI Polygoon from September 2014 to October 2022 and co-founded Wifines, where responsibilities included sales management and extensive client outreach. As Chairman and co-founder of Capitant, a position held from September 2009 to September 2012, Avonts established and supported the organization. Additional experience includes serving as Spokesman for 12,000 students at the University of Antwerp and holding board positions at Unifac and Imbit, where activities included event organization and magazine design. Maarten Avonts holds a degree in Mathematics and Economics with distinction from the University of Antwerp and graduated from Koninklijk Atheneum Ekeren in 2006.
