Kenneth Thean

Kenneth Thean has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kenneth began their career at arvato AG, where they worked as a Project Executive and later as a Project Manager in the Supply Chain department from 2009 to 2013. Kenneth then joined Panalpina as a Regional Logistics Engineer from July 2013 to April 2014. Following that, they worked at DHL as a Consultant from April 2014 to January 2016, where they focused on prospecting, evaluating, and driving commercial opportunities in various sectors.

In January 2016, Kenneth joined aCommerce, an e-commerce solutions provider for Southeast Asia, as a Senior Manager in Projects & Solution Design. During their time there, they led the implementation of a mega facility project in Central Jakarta for a FMCG client and developed the C08RA tool, which is still used for proposal design. Kenneth then took on the role of Regional Director, Solution Design, where they were responsible for leading the bid and implementation team and developing cross-regional solutions.

In April 2018, Kenneth became the Regional Head of Category at aCommerce, where they oversaw the governance of the Hardline Category for the region. In September 2019, they transitioned to the role of Head - Strategic Accounts, Growth and Development, where they managed the top accounts of the company regionally and led commercial and solution design efforts. Their tenure at aCommerce in this role is set to end in February 2023.

Kenneth Thean began their education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2004, where they pursued a Diploma in Banking and Finance. Kenneth successfully completed their diploma program in 2007. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Singapore Institute of Management in 2009 and obtained a degree in Finance and Economics in 2011. Throughout their academic journey, Kenneth focused on areas related to banking, finance, economics, and gained a solid foundation in these subjects.
