Uemura Takashi

Graduated from Waseda University in 2003. In the same year, he joined Accenture Japan Ltd., gaining experience as a strategy consultant.

In 2005, he founded ALBERT Co., Ltd., which focuses on AI and data science. He assumed the post of CEO. In 2015, ALBERT was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market and subsequently realized capital and business alliances with Toyota Motor Corporation, KDDI, and Tokio Marine. Since the establishment of ALBERT, they have built connections with various universities and research institutes in Japan and cultivated it into an organization with more than 100 scientists and AI engineers. During this activity, he became aware of the issues in industry-academia collaboration in Japan, and founded epiST Ventures Co., Ltd. in 2019.
