Dr. Mahbub Sheikh

Dr. Mahbub Sheikh is an accomplished professional in the field of acoustics with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Acoustics Team Leader and Senior Acoustics Engineer at ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd since May 2021, Dr. Sheikh has previously held key positions such as Senior Acoustic Consultant at Acoustic Works and Technical Director - Acoustics at GHD. Earlier roles include Senior Acoustic Engineer at Cogent Acoustics and Vipac Engineers and Scientists, as well as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore. Dr. Sheikh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Building Acoustics and a Master's in Structural Engineering from the National University of Singapore, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
