Andrew Velan

Andrew Velan is a seasoned technology professional with a diverse background in product development and software engineering. Currently serving as Director of Product & Technology at Acorn Biolabs since December 2020, Andrew previously co-founded Skullscan, where innovative AI-driven algorithms were utilized to create animated 3D avatars from single images. Andrew also has experience as a Full Stack Developer at McAfee and Intel Corporation, working on the True Key team, and held the position of Chief Design Officer at Merchlar, a prominent company in the Augmented Reality sector. Andrew began a career in web development at CloudRaker, contributing to various high-profile branding campaigns. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Queen's University.
