Jordan Milham has extensive work experience in the field of compliance and healthcare administration. They started their career as a Residential Support Staff at MOKA, where they provided support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. They then became a Home Supervisor at MOKA, managing the daily operations of an adult foster care home for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.
Afterwards, Jordan worked as a Life Engagement Specialist at Vista Springs, assisting in planning and implementing activities for residents in an assisted living setting. They also worked at LifeWays Community Mental Health as a Self-Determination Coordinator, where they coordinated services for individuals with mental health needs.
Jordan then joined the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services as an Autism Program Analyst. In this role, they conducted audits of healthcare providers and contributed to the planning and development of the Michigan Medicaid Autism Benefit.
Currently, Jordan is the Director of Compliance at Acorn Health, where they have developed and implemented a comprehensive compliance program across multiple states and departments. They serve as a compliance subject matter expert and ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Medicaid and commercial payer contracts.
Jordan Milham, MPA, CHC, has a strong educational background in public administration and allied health sciences. They earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Grand Valley State University between 2007 and 2012, specializing in Allied Health Sciences and Psychology. Building on their undergraduate education, Jordan pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree at Central Michigan University from 2017 to 2019, furthering their expertise in the field of Public Administration. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) in October 2022.
