Darren Shepherd

Darren Shepherd has a strong background in the technology industry, with experience in various roles and at multiple companies. Darren most recently co-founded Acorn Labs in 2022, where they serve as the Chief Architect. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, they were the Chief Architect at SUSE.

Before their role at SUSE, Darren held positions at Rancher Labs as the Chief Technology Officer from 2014 to 2020, and as the Chief Architect from 2014 to 2020.

Prior to Rancher Labs, they worked at Citrix as a Senior Principal Engineer from 2013 to 2014.

Darren also had experience at GoDaddy from 2010 to 2013, serving as a Cloud Architect and then as a Senior Java Developer.

Darren began their career at Citigroup in 2003 as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they worked until 2010.

Darren Shepherd attended California State University, Northridge from 2001 to 2003. Darren obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during their time there.
