Ger Ryan

Ger Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Ger worked at Acorn Life as the COO and Head of Compliance from July 2002 onwards. Ger was also a Non-Executive Director at Bus Éireann starting in July 2012 until July 2021. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Eontec, including Manager in the Operations Division and Professional Services Manager from 2001 to 2002. Ger also worked at ACCBank as the Head of IT Operations and Support from 1997 to 2001 and at AXA Ireland as the Technical Services Manager from 1991 to 1997.

Ger Ryan has a diverse education history. In 1984-1988, they attended Trinity College Dublin and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Later, in 1999-2001, Ger pursued an MBA at the Smurfit Business School at University College Dublin. In the same period, they also completed a Diploma in Advanced Management at the Smurfit Business School. Recently, in 2021, Ger attended University College Dublin again and obtained a Professional Diploma in Compliance, specializing in Compliance in Financial Services.
