Matt Carry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt started their career as an Apprentice in Print Origination at Maney Publishing in 1996. After completing their apprenticeship in 1998, they joined Rivendell Europe as a Reprographics Operator until 2001. In the same year, they began working at Acorn Web Offset Limited as a Customer Service Executive. From 2004 to 2010, they served as a Business Development Manager at the same company. Matt then moved up the ranks to become a Sales Team Manager, responsible for managing sales team, setting targets, and budgeting. In 2013, they took on the role of Sales Director at Acorn Web Offset Limited, where they oversaw various aspects of sales, including strategy, recruitment, restructuring, and cost/margin analysis.

Matt Carry's education history includes completing their NVQ Level 3 in Print Origination at Leeds College of Design & Technology from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Boston Spa Comprehensive School from 1990 to 1998, where they obtained their GCSE and A Level certifications. Their field of study at Boston Spa Comprehensive School included Communication Studies, Art & Design, and Design Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Matt Carry has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the Level 2 Award in Mental Health at Work from F.A.Y.Medical in April 2022, HR Toolkit for Effective Managers from BPIF in January 2012, Sales Director Programme from Cranfield University in November 2011, Introduction to Management from Reed Learning in January 2011, Advanced Driver Development from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in October 2004, and Advanced Field Sales Skills from Maguire Training in July 2004.
