Rachel Lam

Rachel Lam is a Software Engineer II at Acorns, having advanced from Software Engineer I since joining in April 2021. Previously, Rachel worked as an Associate Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where key contributions included developing scripts to automate CAD workflows using Siemens NX, which enhanced operational efficiency. Rachel gained valuable experience in aerospace concepts, system safety documentation, and incident analysis during this role. Prior experience also includes organizing logistics for HackUCI, serving as a Software Development Intern at Siemens PLM Software, and supporting international students at UC Irvine. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from UC Irvine.
