Derek Bowen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Derek started their career at P&G as a Brand Manager for Old Spice, where they achieved significant growth for the brand. Derek then moved on to Henkel, where they held multiple roles, including Marketing Director for Personal Care and Laundry Care, managing multi-million-dollar franchises. At Sara Lee, they served as a Marketing Director, overseeing the Deli portfolio and implementing consumer insight-driven strategies. Derek then joined Alberto Culver as Vice President of Marketing, leading the US Hair Care division and later taking on global responsibilities for the TRESemmé brand. Derek continued to excel in their career when they joined Coty as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Coty Beauty US, managing the Cosmetic and Fragrance portfolios. Derek also held leadership positions at The Nature's Bounty Co., Generation UCAN, Ceramiracle, and Cartograph. In their most recent role as President of Marketing Services North America at Acosta Group, Derek oversees multiple marketing agencies and serves clients across various sectors. Throughout their career, Derek has demonstrated a track record of driving revenue growth, building successful teams, and delivering exceptional results.
Derek Bowen received their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 1992. Derek later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the same institution, graduating in 1998.
