Aretha Delight Davis is a seasoned executive and medical professional, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of ACP Decisions since April 2022, where the focus is on empowering patients through video technology for informed medical decision-making. Previously, Davis held the role of Senior Vice President, Product & Strategy at Novocardia, contributing to the transformation of cardiovascular disease care in the United States. As a co-founder and earlier CEO of ACP Decisions, Davis advanced patient autonomy and shared decision-making. With a background that includes an Internal Medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital and litigation experience at Morgan Lewis, Davis also dedicated time as a Fellow advocating for public health policy initiatives. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.

ACP Decisions
We are a non-profit foundation with a mission to empower patients, their families, and their caregivers to make informed medical decisions. Our professionally-crafted video decision aids facilitate shared decision making for advance care planning, serious illness care and end-of-life care. Our patient decision aids are evidence-based, address low health literacy, and undergo rigorous review by leading experts in medicine, geriatrics, oncology, cardiology, ethics and decision-making. The ACP Decisions Video Library currently consists of over 350 videos, available in over 20 languages. The filming and production of all videos are led by Angelo Volandes, MD, MPH and Aretha Delight Davis, MD, JD, along with colleagues from around the country.
