Alessandra Barberini

Alessandra Barberini is a contemporary art historian, critic, and curator, serving as the owner and founder of GAD Art Factory since April 2008, where GAD functions as a creative district promoting contemporary art. Since July 2020, Barberini has contributed as an art consultant and project manager for the Comune di Piombino, focusing on innovative artistic projects that enhance territorial development. Additionally, Barberini is an art consultant and curator at Acquedotto del Fiora S.p.A., specializing in the promotion and valorization of cultural and environmental heritage. Previously, Barberini was the project leader and managing director of Toscana Foto Festival, a major photographic event in Italy, from 2002 to 2005. Barberini's academic qualifications include a degree in Art History from Università di Siena and advanced studies in the promotion and enhancement of cultural heritage and arts from various esteemed institutions.
