Claudia Mueller Thomson

Claudia Mueller Thomson has accumulated significant work experience in various roles throughout their career. Claudia began their journey at Digital Equipment Corporation in 1992 as a Communications Manager, where they played a crucial role in improving leadership and communication skills among industry leaders. Claudia then joined PictureTel as a Globalization Product and Program Manager in 1994. Claudia continued to excel in this role until 1999 when they transitioned to Rational Software, where they became responsible for leading the globalization efforts. Claudia worked there for seven years and successfully delivered multiple releases of translated products for the global marketplace. In 2006, they joined IBM as a Software Product Manager for the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) segment. Over the years, Claudia held various senior roles at IBM, including Senior Software Product Manager for the IT business and Senior Software Product Manager for the Cloud division. Claudia was also Executive Assistant for a brief period. Finally, in 2015, Claudia joined Acquia as the Director of Product Management for the Cloud Platform. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated strong leadership, innovation, and the ability to meet customer expectations.

Claudia Mueller Thomson holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in German and French Language and Literature from Eastern Illinois University. Claudia also obtained a degree in Translation with a focus on German and French from the University of Vienna. Claudia went on to pursue further education and earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Leadership and Organizational Behavior from Harvard University in 1994. Claudia later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Simmons University in 2005. In 2009, Claudia graduated from Brandeis University with a Master of International Finance. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance in April 2016 and has a certification in Pragmatic Marketing.
