Dan Ashcom

Dan Ashcom has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Dan currently works at Acquia as the Director of Operations, leading a team of DevOps systems engineers and administrators to manage Cloud hosting services. Prior to this, they held positions as a Senior Manager in Operations and Technical Account Management at Acquia. Before joining Acquia, Dan worked at Sharp Microelectronics as a Web Operations Specialist, implementing a Drupal content management system and migrating to a new document management system. Dan also has experience at S3 Technical Solutions as a Director of Implementation and Technical Account Manager, where they managed product management, customer service processes, technical support, and bug tracking. Dan's early career includes roles at Portland State University as a Desktop Support & Projects Coordinator and Technology Labs Manager.

Dan Ashcom earned their MBA in Management and Marketing from the Portland State University - School of Business in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Arts & Letters from Portland State University in 2003. In addition to their formal education, Dan also holds certifications as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services and a Certified ScrumMaster from SCRUM ALLIANCE, obtained in 2018 and 2016 respectively.
