Oliver Wong is currently the VP of Finance at Acrew Capital. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant- Strategic and Corporate Accounts at Robert Half from February 2018 to May 2020. Oliver was also a Consultant- Strategic and Corporate Accounts at Robert Half from March 2016 to February 2018, and an Associate Consultant from September 2015 to March 2016. Before joining Robert Half, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Gap Inc./Gap from June 2014 to August 2015.
At Gap Inc./Gap, Oliver was responsible for setting all aspects of payroll (designated hours, total allowable spend, incentive targets) and subsequently monitoring and tracking expenditure on a weekly basis, tasking store managers to bring costs in line where required. Oliver also designed, phased and submitted the yearly payroll budget (circa £7 million), identifying and flowing through cost savings where required. In addition, they restructured, consolidated and streamlined Banana Republic's weekly reporting process through the creation of an automated, multi-product, by market, performance report which resulted in a more efficient and effective reporting system. The new report was subsequently distributed to over 70 users across Europe and North America on a weekly basis.
Oliver Wong has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Business & Management (Accounting) from Brunel University and is a member of the School: The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
