Michael Kling

Michael Kling serves as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Acrisure since November 2025. Prior to this role, a significant tenure at UFP Industries spanned nearly 12 years, culminating as Senior Corporate Counsel for Mergers & Acquisitions, where contributions included leading the M&A team, managing domestic and international acquisitions, and implementing legal compliance programs. Michael's earlier experience includes positions as Associate at Varnum LLP, where involvement in complex commercial matters and M&A transactions occurred, as well as roles at MCELROY LAW FIRM and the Center for Environmental Law & Policy. Educational achievements consist of a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, a Master’s in Natural Resources Policy, and a Bachelor’s in Physics, Magna Cum Laude from Denison University.
