Nick Defoe

Nick Defoe has extensive experience in information security, primarily focusing on penetration testing, application security, and incident response. Beginning as a Consulting Intern at Haworth, Nick progressed to roles including Information Security Consultant and Senior Information Security Consultant at VDA Labs, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise penetration testing and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Security Operations at Acrisure, Nick is dedicated to enhancing security processes and utilizing advanced technologies. Previous leadership roles include Director of Information Security at US Signal and President of Blue Sky Sessions, alongside board membership at Harbor Humane Society. Nick holds a BA in Computer Science and Business Management from Hope College and a Bachelor of Arts from James Cook University.
