Stephen Wood

Stephen joined Acrisure Re (formerly Beach) in February 2016 and held the position of CFO for four years. In 2019, Stephen transitioned to the role he now holds, CFO of Acrisure International.

Stephen began his career in Toronto at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and has also worked in various top finance roles – mainly in investment banking – for Chemical Bank, Bankers Trust, and Credit Suisse. Stephen later went to Enron where PwC kept him on to oversee and assist in the governance and stewardship of Enron’s liquidation, which was one of the biggest and most complicated liquidations in history. Post-Enron Stephen worked at General Electric (Chief Financial Officer of one its subsidiaries) and then at Willis, where from 2013 he held various senior finance roles including acting Group Chief Financial Officer, Global Group Controller, and Chief Operating Officer of Global Finance Services.
