Tom Rugg

Tom Rugg currently serves as the Employee Benefits Practice Lead for New England at Acrisure, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Rugg worked as an Account Executive and Principal at Hickok and Boardman HR Intelligence from September 2001 to April 2024, focusing on the strategic and operational aspects of employee benefit consulting. Additionally, Rugg contributed to the Lund Family Center as a Board of Trustees member from 2008 to 2014 and served as Campaign Field Director for Senator Jim Jeffords’ re-election campaign in 2000. Rugg also held the role of Legislative Director at the National Grange from April 1995 to June 1999. Educationally, Rugg holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, both from the University of Vermont.
