George El Haddad

George El Haddad has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. George most recently worked at Acrolinx as a Director of Engineering, leading a team and overseeing engineering operations. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Lead at finleap, where they played a key role in guiding the engineering team. George also worked as a Software Engineer at Scientific Software Consultancy & Training, contributing to software development projects. George held the position of Director of Engineering at Postlight - Digital product studio, managing and coordinating engineering activities. George started their career as a Developer/Analyst at BLOM Bank, where they gained experience in software development, data integration, and server management. Overall, George has demonstrated expertise in engineering leadership, software development, and IT architecture.

George El Haddad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and History from Brock University, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended the American International School of Egypt from 1999 to 2001, where they completed their high school education and earned Science and International Baccalaureate Certificates in Computer Science and Math. From 1996 to 1999, they attended the American International School of Cyprus for their high school education under the Standard American System. Before that, from 1993 to 1996, they attended the International School of Basel in Switzerland. In addition to their formal education, George obtained certifications as a Dare to Lead Trained professional from Dare to Lead™ Trained institution in 2022 and completed an Advanced Penetration Testing course, CAST 611, from Formatech in 2011.
