Dr. Sébastien Rolland

Dr. Sébastien Rolland is an experienced professional in localization and translation, currently serving as a Senior Marketing Program Manager at Acronis since March 2022. With a robust background in translation and project management, Dr. Rolland founded Freisk Translation Ltd in 2010 and has successfully completed thousands of projects for notable clients such as Microsoft and Google. Additional experience includes roles as a Google Vetted External Linguist with thebigword and Project Manager at Eurotext Translations, as well as a research position in the Chemistry Combustion Group at NUI Galway. Dr. Rolland holds a Doctorate in Mechanics and Energetics from Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine and a Maîtrise in Physics and Chemistry from Université Blaise Pascal. Alongside professional endeavors, Dr. Rolland is an enthusiastic amateur photographer, having received recognition in various competitions.
