Shachar Rabbe

Shachar Rabbe is the current Chief Financial Officer at Acronis. Prior to their current role, Shachar spent 15 years at Orbotech, where they most recently served as Vice President of Finance & Operations for Orbotech West. In this role, Shachar was responsible for managing the finance, legal, IT and operation departments, administering the company 401(k) plan, handling company insurance programs, and selecting benefit providers to optimize rates. Shachar also oversaw logistics for Orbotech West, including identifying the optimal warehouse location and transferring more than $1M inventory.

In addition to their responsibilities at Orbotech West, Shachar was also in charge of SOX and financial controls for the entire company. This included managing SOX compliance and reviewing and refining existing processes. Shachar also created and updated existing financial controls to support the business needs of Orbotech. During their time at the company, Shachar successfully restructured management of high-performance financial teams in two branches, covering all aspects of US GAAP, Revenue recognition of hardware and software sales, general ledger, account receivable, account payable, tax and compliance. Shachar was also instrumental in developing a managerial dashboard to measure the company’s performance and hold various teams and managers accountable for the results.

During their time at Orbotech, Shachar was consistently promoted due to their exemplary work. Shachar routinely passed all audits (external and internal) through the use of standard operating procedures, and shortened the closing period by 20%. Shachar was chosen to report to the company President with a dotted line to the CFO, and excelled as a trusted advisor and partner for strategic planning and day-to-day management, driving an increase in operating cash flow and working capital. As a champion of excellence in planning and managing the budget (FP&A), Shachar regularly drove overall organization growth and overachieved on lofty financial goals. Finally, as an essential contributor in deals negotiation (including multi-million USD deals), Shachar reviewed and prepared contracts, conducted deal closing meetings, approved pricing approvals and gross margins, while maximizing market share.

Shachar Rabbe has an MBA in Finance from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a B.A. in Accounting and Economy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Shachar is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

They are on a team with Serguei Beloussov - Co-Founder, Chief Research Officer, Ezequiel Steiner - President & COO, and Igor Zolotaryev - Global VP, HR. Their manager is Patrick Pulvermueller, CEO.
