Tamás Németh

Tamás Németh is a software engineer who currently works at Acryl Data. Tamás has previously worked at The Apache Software Foundation, Prezi, Morgan Stanley, and NetLock Kft.

Németh began their career as a software developer at NetLock Kft., where they were responsible for planning and administrating the productive *nix servers. Tamás also planned, developed, and integrated PKI-related softwares for *nix systems, and provided technical consultancy to customers. In 2010, they left NetLock Kft. to join Morgan Stanley as an Associate.

In 2014, Németh joined Prezi as a Senior Staff Engineer/Tech Lead Manager of the Data Platform Team. Tamás was responsible for leading a team of engineers in developing Prezi’s data platform. Tamás left Prezi in 2021 to join Acryl Data as a software engineer.

Tamás Németh attended Budapesti Műszaki Főiskola, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Tamás also holds a certification from Coursera in Functional Programming Principles in Scala.

Tamás Németh reports to Swaroop Jagadish, Co-Founder & CTO. They work with Aseem Bansal - Software Engineer, John Joyce - Co-founder & Engineer, and Pedro Silva - Software Engineer.
