Sammy Maitland is a seasoned curator and arts professional currently serving at Acrylicize since August 2025 and as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Bedford Creative Arts since April 2023. Previously held positions include Creative Producer at the London Museum, where responsibilities encompassed managing creative activations and overseeing the launch of the London Museum Studios, and Exhibitions and Events Coordinator at Mall Galleries. Early career roles include curatorial and assistant positions at Departure Lounge Gallery, UH Arts, and the University of Hertfordshire, where Sammy gained extensive experience in exhibition programming, artist collaboration, and project management in the visual arts sector. Sammy holds a Master’s degree in Art and Visual Culture from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's degree in Photography from the University of Hertfordshire.
