Andrew Howie is an experienced Maintenance Superintendent and Flight Instructor with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently leading a multinational team at VAALCO Energy, Inc., Andrew oversees maintenance programs and mechanical work across multiple oil production platforms. Andrew's previous roles at BP included Maintenance Team Leader, Lead Mechanical Technician, and Project Lead, where responsibilities ranged from managing maintenance activities and optimizing plans to leading significant overhauls and shutdowns. Andrew also possesses aviation experience, having served as a Senior First Officer for various airlines, including Oman Air and Flyglobespan. Educational credentials include a Mechanical Engineering NVQ3 from North East Scotland College and a strong foundational education from Greenfaulds High.

Established in 2007, ACS Aviation offer a range of flight training services at Perth Airport, along with on-site engineering and operation of the entire airfield. We provide pilot training for recreational licenses as well as aircraft hire. We provide excellent training towards the Commercial Pilot License, Multi-engine Rating, and Instrument Rating.
