Gil Edwards, RICP

Gil Edwards has over 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Gil started their career as a Regional Director for Penn Mutual, where they opened a regional office and managed new business staff, recruited and trained independent agents in Washington and Oregon. Gil then founded their own company, Gil Edwards & Associates, Inc, where they successfully developed an agency with over 20,000 life insurance policies placed in force. Gil recruited and trained a field force of life insurance specialists and developed an inside sales team to manage and sell insurance prospects. In 1998, Gil founded Termco Financial Services, a life insurance marketing company where they worked closely with institutional accounts and their clients, providing insurance expertise, case design, and back-office processing. Gil also developed and established a virtual call center to route inbound calls to satellite agencies. In 2012, Gil joined ACSIA Partners as Director Sales, Life Insurance & Asset Based Long Term Care. In this role, they work closely with long-term care specialists to provide solutions for clients looking for long-term care insurance, life insurance, and retirement income needs. Gil is responsible for quoting, planning, training, case design, client acquisition, and retention.

Gil Edwards, RICP completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Washington from 1977 to 1981. Gil later pursued further education, earning the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation from The American College of Financial Services between 2013 and 2017. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Washington. No specific start and end years were provided for this second degree.
