Mark Jensen

Mark Jensen has worked in the software development field since 1998. Theirfirst role was as a Staff Programmer at j2 Global, where they architected and developed customer-facing web applications and assumed technical leadership of the telephony (IVR) platform. Technologies used included Classic ASP, C++, Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS), COM+, Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), IIS, and Oracle RDBMS.

In 2001, Mark joined ActOne Group as Director of Software Development. Mark then assumed the role of Senior Manager, Web Development, where they led a team of onshore and offshore programmers in developing web-based applications and services that are effective, secure, and easy to use. Technologies used included Windows Server 2016, ASP. NET MVC, ASP.

Finally, Mark held the role of Senior Software Engineer at ActOne Group, where they were responsible for the company's web-based applications and services. Technologies used included Windows 2003, IIS 6, Classic ASP, ASP. NET Web Forms, HTML4, JavaScript, CSS, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Mark Jensen has an educational background that includes a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and Russian Language and Literature from the National University of Science and Technology, MISIS (Moscow, RU). Mark also holds a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification.
