Erika Berry Huffman

Erika Berry Huffman currently serves as the Lead Policy Analyst at ACT, a position held since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Policy at TennesseeCAN from October 2020 to January 2024, and as the Senior Policy Advisor at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction between February 2018 and October 2020. Erika has also worked as an Education Policy Advisor in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor in Mississippi from January 2015 to July 2017 and as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Charter Schools Association from December 2012 to January 2015. Earlier in her career, Erika worked as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from July 2008 to June 2010. Erika holds a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Education Policy Analysis from Vanderbilt University, a Bootcamp Certification in Data Analytics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Mississippi.
