Stewart James-Lexártzegi, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and founder of multiple organizations, currently serving as the Founder, Director, and Producer of Lifeline Action since September 2022, which focuses on complex social issues through documentary filmmaking. In addition, Stewart directs Expeditions Into the Common Good, facilitating critical thinking conversations in educational settings since September 2021, and holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of St. Thomas, teaching Film and Spanish/Hispanic Culture/Literature. As the Founder and President of Nations Without Statehood Enterprise since January 2016, Stewart advocates for stateless nations through educational programs and resource sharing. With extensive experience in writing, teaching, and assessment development, Stewart has contributed to various academic institutions and has been actively involved in the literary community since 1987. Stewart holds a Ph.D. in World Literature from the University of Houston and has received education from prestigious institutions, including The Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University.
