Giuliano Scala is a seasoned professional in the solar energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Engineer at ACT Power Services since June 2022, overseeing over 1.5GW across more than 90 utility-scale solar projects. Prior experience includes managing over 1GW of utility-scale projects and performing operational duties that enhanced technical analysis and troubleshooting capabilities. Giuliano's background also consists of an internship at 8MSolar focused on drone evaluations for photovoltaic systems and an undergraduate research role at FREEDM Systems Center, developing UAV models in MATLAB/Simulink. Giuliano holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University, graduated in May 2022, and possesses foundational skills from an earlier role as Assistant Manager at Cloos' Coney Island.
