Kyle Cooper

Kyle Cooper, P.E. has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Kyle is currently the Chief Executive Officer at ACT Power Services and the President and Owner of Cooper O&M Holdings, LLC, where they provide executive level consultation for renewable energy companies. Previously, they were the Vice President at CCR O&M at Cypress Creek Renewables, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their solar portfolio. Kyle also held various leadership positions at Duke Energy Corporation and Progress Energy, including Operations Shift Manager and Control Room Supervisor. Throughout their career, Kyle has demonstrated expertise in organizational development, O&M contracting, technical due diligence, operational compliance, P&L management, corporate operations and strategy, business development, and engineering.

Kyle Cooper, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Energy and Sustainability from Franklin Pierce University. In the same year, they also earned an Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Certificate from Stanford University. Additionally, Kyle holds certifications such as a Professional Engineer obtained in 2017 from NCEES, a Senior Reactor Operator license obtained in December 2014 from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and an Engineer-in-Training certification obtained in 2008.
